I have made several business trips to Columbus GA.. Macon Rd. BBQ had the very best smoked meat and the best BBQ sauce that I have ever had. The place was always busy and now I know why. great wood fired open pit bbq. great place for a pork feast or a chicken pig out. the sauce is not all that it could be but the meat doesn't suffer with it or with out it. this landmark bbq joint has been in business for years. so long in fact that it's not on the macon road any longer. more
