I have eaten at Shaw's twice and enjoyed my meal both times. It's always crowded in the lobby so be prepared to wait a bit to be seated (my reservations were for 7 PM and we weren't seated until nearly 7:30 PM). Spent the Thanksgiving weekend in the City and ended up eating both night at Shaw. The second night tried to get into Joe's and ended up back at Shaw's. Shaw's has delicious food and one of my favorite restaurants to visit. It's fairly pricey, but worth it. I recommend the oyster sampler platter. The whitefish is a fairly inexpensive dish and tastes wonderful. Their sides are served family-style and can serve four people. I would definitely phone in a reservation. more

We very much enjoyed our visit to Shaw's. The staff was very friendly and properly attentive. The food was excellent. This is always one of our "must go to" restaurants when we visit Chicago. Will be back!!! more
