Quick lunch, grabbed their 8oz hamburger which surprised me. Good composition, fresh bread. Maybe a little to much cheese, othervise close to perfection.
Miller's is great value for restaurants in Chicago, particularly in the Loop. If you are traveling alone and want to eat at the bar, this is a good place to go. Easy to reach on virtually any L-train line also. It's very much old school, though, which some people think is not upscale. For example, the salads are basically iceberg... More
This place it's like go back to the gagsters years. The food it's great. A bit expensive but highly recommended.
On a recent visit to Chicago we, a group of five, had serveral meals in Millers. The food was fantastic as was the service. Staff were very friendly and we discovered a wonderful waitress named Jeanie. On our second visit she remembered the drinks each of us had ordered two nights previous and exactly the way we liked them. I... More
I've been tasting these ribs off n on for the past 35 years. Love them. Soft, tender from slow-roasting. These are not pressure-cooked first like you find at a hand full of chain restaurants (which then only reheat them briefly and sauce them). I had my first "Tom & Jerry" here last year (Dec. 2012) and I'll be back the week after Thanksgiving 2013 for at least one more. Delicious hot drink; perfect for a chilly Chicago evening! Service was great, too.
We were a group of 5 and all were disappointed. We were seated upstairs which was not as nice as the downstairs area. We were served our salads before the appetizers arrived. We had ribs for one of the appetizers and they were pretty good but it went down from there. The salads were essentially iceberg lettuce out of a... More
This place was right around the corner from our hotel so we though we would check it out for dinner. It was really wonderful. I'll be honest and tell ya that I was a little under the weather before the day even started so my appetite wasn't much. But this place was the perfect atmosphere, great staff, and my salad... More
I visit Chicago every year. The food and service has the best the town can offer. Thank you Dawn and Bridgett for the excellent service. And Pete the manager is very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend millers pub. I can't wait to go back!
Nice friendly pub and restaurant. It was very busy the night we ate there but we had traveled from the UK overnight and all we wanted was a cheap and cheerful meal before we went back to the hotel to sleep. It was quite loud in there but also had a good atmosphere and the service was prompt with generous... More
