Okay for a buffet style. I expected more but guess the large group prohibited high quality Italian? Shrimp on ice were mealy, and the hot items were barely warm.
Still a great value. Great prices for wine, solid food quality. Last week tried the ravioli with braised pork and peck, very tasty, and the veal ossobuco, perfectly done, smooth, rich. Nebbiolo wine complimented the food in another positive stop at Quartino. The prices are very affordable and you can share most of the dishes. Never had anything that wasn't... More
This place is fun! Great vibe inside the restaurant and almost always crowded!! We stopped in on a Thursday with an hour wait and decided to leave and get reservations for a Friday. The food is delicious and well priced. Best idea is to buy multiple plates for your group and everyone share to make your own plate. Service was... More
This is a busy place. We didn`t have a reservation so, when we arrived, the entrance was so full of people that we almost couldn`t reach the hostess. When I could ask for a table she said there was no table for that night anymore but we could take some spot at the bar. It was so crowd that we... More
Thoroughly enjoyed the food. They make their own pasta and sauces on site and cure their meat themselves. Our waiter was very knowledgable on their menu and made great recommendations for our meals.
Very good selection of wines served in quartinos - and numerous small plates. The veal meatballs were excellent. Great service despite being quite crowded. This place is worth a visit if you want a light meal.
Visited without a reservation on a weeknight. Found us a nive table and gave us very attentive service. Very goog wines by the carafe. The food was very authentic Italian. Crowded and noisy but in a good wayy
TheLangham hotel concierge recommended the Quartino for a casual after-show dinner with good food....geat choice! Large selection of pasta dishes and pizza. The minestrone soup was outstanding...a must try!! Save room for the dessert..tiramisu and the Italian donuts were so good.
Made reservations on Open Table for 3 before seeing a play in Chicago on a Wednesday night. Ran late due to traffic but hostess was very accommodating when we called to let her know we'd be late. Restaurant has a small plate menu with lot's of options. All dishes well prepared and brought to our table very quickly. We shared... More
This restaurant is a fun place to go with friends. The dishes are small but there is plenty for two to share. The prices are reasonable so it means you can get quite a few to share without breaking the bank. The food is delicious, the lemon sponge desert was yummy, the only downside was that the pizza only comes... More
