It is amazing what coffee snobs work there. They look at you strange if you just order a "large coffee". Their coffee is OK at best. And if you order something to go, they never seem to have the stoppers to plug the drink hole on the top of the cup to keep the coffee from spilling all over you... more
I stumbled onto this place while walking back to work from a lunch meeting, and I was instantly hooked. This has to be the best coffee I have ever had. The workers are kind of snobby, but its worth dealing with the attitudes to get a great latte. I suggest you buy a pound and press it yourself -- coffee... more
I love good coffee and after reading the reviews was very excited about experiencing Intelligentsia Coffee. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was a little disappointed. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was good, but it was simply another coffee shop. I don't know that I'd brave the crowds to go back. more

I went here when I was on vacation. OMG, I think it was the best coffee i've ever had. In chicago there's a starbucks every 15 feet but you have to skip past them and head to intelligencia. Better prices, better coffee, better pasteries PERIOD. more
