At one time this was the place to go, really it was only one of a couple of places that was a steak house. Back then it was under different ownership and was good, I'm talking in the 60's, It still has the feel of that time, but the food is not near what it was, their Sunday brunch it... more
Recently dined( Thursday evening)at ASH with a friend we each ordered the filet. Unlike Chicago steak houses entrees come with choice of potato (LARGE baked/double baked) and soup or salad bar. Each steak was cooked to order, served hot and very good. Will return again, perhaps tomorrow! more
My husband and I went to Al's on a Sunday evening for dinner and walked out after thirty minutes of not being served. Our previous unpleasant dining experience at Al's was about three years ago and promised never to waste our money there again.
