I live in Libertyville and enjoy the Tavern often. The decor is unique, but I love the steaks. True, this is an expensive restaurant, but what can you expect for USDA Prime, tight trims, dry aging, and a really big wine list. My job requires me to travel quite a bit, and the quality of the Tavern does hold up.... more

This restaurant is made by its interior. The wood floors, wood panels, and mardi gras beads really make for a great atmosphere. The food is very good, but expect to pay high prices. I have eaten here three times, and the first visit was by far the best....not to say that the other two were bad, just simply not quite... more
