Hemmingway's bistro is a must for people staying in chicago or oak park. The food is Awesome and it's a bit pricier than a normal restaurant but it's cheap for it's quality. and the waiter/waitress were amazing i loved the red haired waitress who had the best smile i've seen in a long time :) more

Unfortunately, we spent one night at the Write Inn which is attached to Hemmingway's Bistro, although under separate ownership. Hemmingway's food is incredibly delicious! Okay, we've lived in Oak Park for nearly 12 years and have been to H's a few times. Personally the entrees are hit or miss. We've had GREAT and we've had practically unedible. We have lived in Oak Park since 1971 and always went to Horwath's on Harlem and North as a family favorite.
