Lalo's was okay. Chips were okay, salsa okay, service okay. Margarita's were pretty ordinary as well. The whole experience was good, not great. Thereare definitely better Mexican food restaurants in Oak Park. more

The Margarita's are fantastic! My family and I go every Friday night! The food is okay, not top of the line but good and hearty. I live near the Lalo's in Oak Park and it's one of my favorite restaurants. The margaritas are terrific. The food is OK - Americanized Mexican - not exceptional though. Service is always great and they're good with kids, too. Oak Park is now no-smoking in all restaurants so it makes a night out even more enjoyable. Give it a... more
