Patrons of this restaurant should be very careful to check their bank statements if they use a debit card to pay the bill in this establishment. For the second time, we have found that they have debited our bank account for more than was authorized.....they apparently "add " to the tip when they see fit. We had a bill of... more

I love Papaspiros ever since we moved to Oak Park and eat there all the time. You can eat in, pick up, or even have it delivered along with a bottle of wine! If you engage the servers in conversation and ask their opinions on the food, they are very helpful. We bring visitors there all the time, and everyone... more

I absolutely love the food at Papaspiros Resturant in Oak Park. I love the Greek salads, the saganaki, the Greek Chicken, gyros, and all of the side dishes including greek style potatoes, dalmatis...The service can't be beat and the staff is extremely warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is now warm and cozy; like a living room. I would go here... more

I am a lover of Greek food and eat it every chance I get. In my opinion their food is better than any I have had in Greektown on Chicago or any other city I have visited in the US. I saw that someone wrote this restaurant is touristy, and I have to speak up! I live a few blocks away and always thoroughly enjoy the food and service at Papaspiros. We had dinner for two and paid around $ 34. We only have good things to say about Papaspiros. The interior is nice and there is also outdoor serving. The restaurant is clean as well are the bathrooms. The food was really good and the service was good and fast. We would eat there again. more

Papaspiros is arguably the best restaurant in Oak Park--if you order off the appetizers menu and go for the more traditional dishes. Lunch also is outstanding, with several lunch specials that are much finer than many other lunch offerings. The atmosphere is great, if you want subdued lighting, blue checkerboard tablecloths, and waiters that enjoy serving. more

Okay for a touristy restaurant and those with low standards for Greek food. It was dry and over-cooked. Greek food should be more moist and flavorful. more
