We highly recommend the Shaw’s Sunday Brunch (at either their Schaumburg or Chicago location), a hotel-style colossal buffet spread that is totally over the top, and affordable (much cheaper than the fine hotels) at $40 for each adult and $20 for kids (took my 11 and 8 year old kids recently and they loved it). i love their portion sizes - you can get smaller, cheaper, fantastic desserts. you have got to try their in house brewed ice tea. love their stirfry bar, some great sauces. i live in the area and go here at least monthly. more
