Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best food we have had in a very long time! The beef rendang was outstanding! Fresh and full of of flavour. Never had Asian fusion food done so well! We will be back with family and friends. Thanks again to the brilliant staff (Lady who...had the Twins) sorry we can't remember your name but your recommendations were perfect!More

Very good and extensive menu . Pity it is so noisy which spoils what would otherwise be an excellent meal Needed some heating on, as a very cold and windy day. But will not stop us returning.

Excellent food and well presented. Both Sunday lunch and a la carte all delicious and plentiful. Lovely roast potatoes and a proper baked cheesecake. Te service was friendly but very slow, although we were a rather large (12) table. Very good value for money.

We had 4 dogs with us and were made very welcome and water was provided without being asked. It was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and the chap who was not only managing the bar, but also serving the food was very obliging and nothing was...too much trouble. There was a good selection on the menu and the food was good value for money and served hot. A very enjoyable meal after a bracing dog walk along the beach.More

Had a lovely Sunday roast, everything was delicious, even had pudding 😊 lovely place to eat and staff all friendly and helpful. Children in here seemed relaxed and enjoying themselves without overwhelming the place and it was an enjoyable lunch.

A lunchtime treat and it was well worth it, a two course special to save having to cook dinner, just a pub but with good grub.

Me my wife and our family went for roast dinner on the 10/09/2023 and I can honestly say it was the worst roast I've ever eaten it all started when are dinner first turned up and 3 people who had pork belly asked for apple...sauce and complained about the taste ,my son being one of them said it tastes like it had gone off and then my daughter had the beef which was as tough as leather we said to one of the waitresses about our issues and she did apologise but we had no response from the owners or the chef, when my wife went to pay their was no mention of money off the bill which cost us £156, not good practice by the oyster pearl I expected better from them as the holiday park opposite is where my mum and dad spend a lot of time and eat in the pub most evenings and had recommended the food I must say we had a meal in their on Thursday evening and it was very nice but the roast dinner was horrible and I'm not one to complain I'll eat just about anything but the roast dinner was not good.More

We arrived at 6pm to be told that food wasn’t being served. What sort of pub stops serving food before 6pm on a Sunday. Very disappointed as tried to ring before visiting to confirm the food situation but no one answered the phone, shambolic

Food was ok but we have also ordered 1 espresso martini, 1 French martini and 1 aperol spritz , they were utterly disgusting, we haven’t drunk any of them! The espresso martini was actually listed on the special drink board for 12 pound but it...was just dirty coffe water without any kalua or vodka! I mean don’t promote it if you don’t know the cocktail recipe!More
