I consider this a favorite. Only downfall is its always busy and usually have to wait to be seated. For the money some of the best steaks and food around.
Busy diner so get there early. Quick with their service and always very good. Help is friendly and eager to please. Portions are always able to fill and rolls are to die for. Sweet butter adds to flavor. All the peanuts you can eat also. Pork chops and steak consistent and flavorful.
Waitress was off in another world. SLOW service and they weren't all that busy. Food was luke warm to cold and not very tasty. Asked to see the manger but he/she must have been on "break". We vowed to never go there again. This is IOWA ! ! A good steak should be pretty easy to prepare.
Our group ordered different entrees, and all of us thought they were great. The prime rib, pork chop and salmon were great along w/ the baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes. The salad were also super.
This was a handy restaurant since we could walk from the Clarion Hotel. The service was good, although our kids had to sit at the table beside us and had a different waitress so it made paying the bill a little awkward. The food was as expected at Texas Roadhouse which is good.
Placed a carry out order last week. There was bad weather around that made the registers go down when I went in to pick it up. Togo server (Katie) didn't make me wait and manually calculated it for me because she felt bad. Food was tastey and gave me some extra bread for no charge. Service like her is hard... More
The food was not the good quality as I normally experience Texas Roadhouse. The rolls were over cooked. The waitress had her boyfriend in at the bar so she was more concerned with chatting with him. Our steak was under cooked and when the manager brought them back out to us he asked if we wanted more rolls we replied... More
Many times I have been here and only drove thru the parking lot to find the waiting line well out the door and outside benches full up, so for that reason, have not stopped. I found going early, before 4pm is the best idea. The food is very very good. The waitstaff leave a bit to be desired, but I... More
Good food, good prices, casual fun atmosphere. Loved being able to throw peanut shells on the floor.
