Latin King has an old-style family restaurant feel, the kind where you feel like you're eating in a place with some history. Latin King's Chicken Spedini is soo good, they sell it at the local Dahl's Grocery store, but you know, it's never as good as you get at the restaurant! I second the mango Martini, order your spedini with the Ammogio sauce, not the white sauce! A des Moines standout restaurant for years! Not overpriced either. more

When I lived in Des Moines my family would go here all the time, its great. Although not on the greatest side of town, its a place would you drive for. Its got great decor & a great family feeling.
