In the heart of downtown Iowa City, Iowa, Quinton's is a nice place to eat during the afternoon hours, and a quaint bar in the evening hours. Although not the cleanest place that I've ever eaten, the food it very good. There are lots of different sandwiches and soups that are different from other restaurants. more
Quinton's does not stand out as anything beyond average. The food is often inconsistent and the wait staff as well. I have had decent meals here, and I have had terrible meals as well. Smokie bar ambience, great sandwiches. I haven't been back since the smoking ban, so I don't know whether it's still tobacco-scented. more

The sandwiches are good and fresh, all grileld, but a nice menu variety. if you're looking for a burger and fries you won't find it here, but you will find, A FRESH SANDWICH, SOUP, BAKED POTATOES AND CHIPS. more

Quinton's is a great place to get extremely full for only a little money. The secret is the baked potatoes on their menu. THEY ARE HUGE!! (and you get 2 of them).
