New chef and it shows. Have now experienced the Chefs choice twice. Food was way over the top, each course a delight. 5 courses a lot of food. Elegant with great friendly service. Stay at Hyatt but eat at Eaton ! Who knew Wichita, KS has such a fine dining restaurant. Ordered the Chef's Tour, every course was superb in taste, quality, freshnest and presentation. The Eaton Steakhouse is my favorite place for breakfast in Wichita. I like it so much my friend and I have breakfast there once a week. Try the crab cake/eggs benedict combo. Since I wrote in February, things have just gotten better at the Eaton. Recently, they had a southern brunch which was absolutely wonderful, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, wonderful salads, meats and breakfast fare and gorgeous desserts. Hats off to the whole staff. more

To celebrate our 24th anniversaty we went to Eaton Steakhouse for 1st time. We had heard good things about it and wanted to give it a try. My wife and I don't mind spending a fair amount of money for a meal if the food and service warrant it. Parking at the restaurant is downtown and therefore at the curb.... more

I came in on business and was looking for "a good steak house" to take a client to. All the ratings for this place were good with the exception of several stating "overpriced or too expensive for Wichita" . I have no problem spending, and typically do, hundreds of dollars on a good meal with wine and therefore the complaints... more

Ate there last night. Both of us had steaks, but they claim to fly the seafood in daily. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. Would recommend, particularly if you are in the mood for a high quality steak. more
