We always manage to stop here while visiting Wichita. Practically everything about this place looks original, very charming and nostalgic. Lunch is pretty darn good, too. Famous for their tomato bisque. Believe it or not, good Mexican food. But the ice cream....it's all worth eating! more

Great place to have lunch. Everyone just needs to calm down and wait for it!!!! We have all gotten so use to the "I'm hungry and need it NOW" mentality! Sloooooooowwwww down........ You want fast. This was my second trip to the Old Mill Tasty Shop. Both times I ordered the Aspen Snowball. Ice cream rolled in coconut with chocolate syrup. I admit that the place is all about the ice cream (the root beer floot is delicous) but the sandwiches are great. The bread is all fresh and locally made. It is a cute little shop with friendly service, a place you should definately visit. more
