After moving here from the NYC area, I spent a lot of time trying to find baked goods as delicious as the ones in NYC. I've been to every bakery in town, and the Bluegrass Baking Company is by far the best! They don't take credit cards, so bring lots of cash or a check, because you'll need it for... more

If you are tired of bread from the supermarket and look for something better, the Bluegrass Baking Company (BBC) is the place to go! Many customers are Europeans who look for great bread comparable to the bread in their home countries. They sell great French, German and Italian style bread! WOW!! What else can I say? If you are looking for great bread that you can't get in the grocery stores, than you need to go to the Bluegrass Baking company. My husband and I came across the store by accident, and we instantly fell in love. The bakery makes their breads fresh right there in the open concept store.... more
