I used to really enjoy their large "Round the World" pizza. However, it all depends on who makes it. The last time I went, it was oversaturated with cheese and was barely edible. This small pizza place is a Baton Rouge institution not to be missed. The pricing is quite reasonable -- two people can eat, with beers, for under 20 bucks. There is usually immediate seating but the wait after you order tends to be around 30 min., so don't arrive starving. more
The anchove pizza is outstanding! I know of very few places to get this type of pizza, and I have visited all over the world. It's hard to spend a lot of money there since you can feed a family of four for under $20. Wish they would take credit cards and have a tap for beer and soda. more
My wife and I ate here at least once a week while I was going to LSU. This is the only pizza (round the world) that I order with anchovies, and it is incredible. There are only a couple pizzas I call the best and this is one of them. more
..and I am. Not your typical American Pizza and not my taste really, but I do like it anyway. The crust is cracker thin (while I like a handtossed crsut usually) and the oblong pizza feeds fewer because of it than your round franchise pizza will. But the price is right, so order another. The pizza is not all it's made out to be. Maybe it's b/c I have a biased opinion of how pizza should be. I'm used to the mom & pop pizza shops in NJ/NY. I would not pay that much for the quality of the pizza. more

Everytime I go home to Louisiana, a Must on my list, is to go to the 'Fleur-De-Lis". The pizza is the BEST. The most expensive one (a large Round the World) is not even $11.
