Personally, I believe this is the benchmark by which any other Cajun restaurant should be judged by. This place absolutely exudes flavor and authenticity that sets the standard by which any other serious cajun restaurant should aspire to. Recently went to Prejeans. Some menu changes that eliminate some of their specialty dishes such as the "boudin balls" and many more. Very disppointed in this change. Doubt we will return as often.. more

We were here for the first time in March (2008). There was no live music since it was Good Friday, but the food was fantastic and we would definitely go back. The boudin balls were great, and the oysters were some of the best I've had ever. We'll definitely go back next time we're in Lafayette. more

If you're from out of town and want to try some authentic Cajun, you really can't go wrong with Prejean's. I'm from the area, and my friends and I can't get enough of it. The salad dressings are divine... try the eggplant pirogue, too. :) more
