Delicious gumbo (better than homemade) . Plate lunches we had were very good. We had the shrimp stew which was well seasoned with the potato salad (some of the best) and the catfish plate-especially good. Very casual. I travelled to Lafayette for business a lot over the past 10 years and Ruby's was a favorite place for lunch; especially on Thursdays when they would have turkey wings.
