After reading some previously unhappy customer reviews on here, I had decided to avoid the Camden Deli. However, around lunch time, and in a hurry and in need of a bathroom, we walked in. The whole menu sounded delicious, and their baked goods looked tempting and all under $3.00. The two of us split #33 turkey, basil, tomato, mozz. and... more
Great view from top floor. Interesting selection of Deli food and drinks. Not bad, but does not wow me. ( 2 visits each time, 5 yrs apart) more
I was in the deli for the first time in a few months just a couple of days ago and had an excellent meal. The service was friendly and prompt, the food hot and delicious. It looks as if they've made some recent improvements to the building as well, new paint and new fixtures. I've always been able to count... more
My husband & I were looking for a quick bite to eat after a long, bad traffic drive to Camden. It was a Friday night (May 8) and our first visit to Camden (actually our first time north of Portland). We walked into the center of town and came upon the Deli. It had a nice appearance. It was an... more
On a recent visit to Camden, my husband and I stopped at the Camden Deli for a quick bite while we were shopping. What a cute place! My sandwich was tasty and I loved the view of the water while we ate. Good to see that small coastal towns still have their charming sandwich shops! more
We were at the Camden Deli during the middle of July last season, with a large family. The staff was quick to accomodate us, were very friendly and obliging. The servings were generous, the prices were reasonable, and oh, the view! This is a must stop for anyone coming to visit the area. The baker-owner informed us that all the... more
I lived in Camden a couple of years ago and visit quite frequently, and this is the last place I'd visit for a meal or even a beverage. The Camden Deli is WAY overpriced. For example, a simple bottle of Poland Springs water is double the price it is at the grocery store Graves, French and Brawn, and The Market... more
We had lunch at the Camden Deli once while we were vacationing there. We ate on the upstairs outdoor patio which had nice harbor views. The service was a bit spotty. The food was fairly good but overpriced just for sandwiches and chips; typical tourist spot. If you go try to avoid the lunch hour as it was so crowded. more
Newly arrived in Camden from Bar Harbor, my buddy and I decided to try the Deli out for lunch and had a very nice time. Neither one of us felt drawn to anything fancy. He had a BLT on sourdough bread and I had a grilled cheese with LT also on sourdough. He had a lemonade and I tried out... more
