I travel north through Ellsworth (and then back South) every summer, and Jordan's has become a regular stop. Best crabroll around (not dripping with mayo... the crab taste comes through and I'm not even sure that there is any binding agent, it's so clean!). REALLY, REALLY good fried clams. Not large Ipswich clams like in MA but small sweet cherry stone clams with bellies fried in a perfect light batter. Jordan's is a must if you need to make a pitstop along Route 1. The regulars line up at meal times, so you know it's the real deal. My favorite is the crabroll. Shakes and fries also good. more

We love this place, the food, and the people! We plan our trips home (from TN) around at least one meal at Jordan's. Everything is great-especially the clams, scallops, haddock, and lobster rolls. Always superb! We have wonderful memories from 30+ years of great lunches and dinners. If you are in the area, Jordan's is a must. more

I have never had a bad meal at Jordan's. If you are in Bar Harbor on vacation you must, I say, must drive to Ellsworth for Jordan's Fried Clams, Shrimp and Haddock. You will not be disappointed.
