Good local seafood, with good friendly service. We stopped here recently and had a great seafood lunch. Not on the water, but with much, much, better pricing. Almost seems more like a locals place. The twin lobster lunch was as good as one on a wharf, except for the view. Total bill under $35.00 for two. more

We were recently in Searsport, Maine vacationing. We went into Searsport and stopped by Anglers at the advise of a friend. We were extremely pleased with the food and service. This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Maine - always consistently good and fresh. The fried clams are some of the best in the Mid Coast area. Although the restaurant is next door to a motel you don't want to stay in (I think the owners may be the same), Anglers is a delight. Our group enjoyed the friendly waitstaff, lobsters done just-right and wonderful, huge desserts. We'd definitely stop in here, again! more
