I don't live in California or Los Angeles but I do have one qualification that other reviewers do not possess. I am Chinese and lived/worked/travelled through Asia (China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong just to name a few) the past 30 years and I can tell you that IMPERIAL CHINA is NOT authentic Chinese food. It's definitely American Chinese food..sorry... more

We always stop at Imperial China whenever we are in the Portland area. The food is consistently excellent. From the outside it is very unassuming ; just a store front in a strip mall across the street from Border's books and the Maine Mall. Inside it is very comfortable.
