I visit every year and this is usually my first stop. I do not know where one of the other reviewers got their info. but I believe it is home made ice cream. It certainly is wonderful and they have very original flavors. Always friendly, always generous protions. Texture is better than Brown's and the line is never as long. more

The ice cream at Scoop Deck is tasty, but it not actually homemade. They purchase their ice cream from a supplier. Other shops in the area DO make thier own ice cream. The Scoop Deck is a popular spot for a quick ice cream. It becomes very crowded in the evening. The lines are often out the door, but the move fast.
