I walked in and instantly saw sports bar. There are tv's all around the bar and ESPN rules the screen. We sat down and the decor was sporty red - see the first pic. Went there a week or so ago, Thursday night, for a belated birthday dinner. Seating: Nice booth, a bit too dark I thought and waited for waitress. Waitress arrives and we order drinks, which are priced around the same as other restaurants in the area. We received HOT bread and SOFT butter...this I did backflips over. My wife and I ate here for our anniversary. We were surprised to find it located in a strip mall and had our doubts. We ate there anyway and couldn't even finish our meals. The meals were overcooked and the fish and vegetables didn't taste fresh. We took the rest of the bottle of wine home with us, picked up... more
This is a sister restaurant to Yellow fin in Edgewater (which we really like) and Big Fish in Crofton (haven't been to...) and Buddy's Crabs and Ribs in Annapolis (very casual in comparison and a bit of a tourist trap) They have half priced apps at the bar during happy hour. Red Sky is located on Route 1 in a retail strip center with a Hooters on one side and a Dollar Store on the other. Not where you would expect to get a fantastic meal, but it is worth seeking out. We have a relative in an assisted living facility nearby, so that is how we stumbled onto this restaurant.... more
