My wife and I stayed at the Inn for two nights last week. The Inn is fabulous and I would go again in a minute. However, Sherwood's Landing was a bit disappointing. While the restaurant is beautiful and the view of the water was very romantic, the food was average. I had the chef's signature crab spring rolls as an... more

This used to be the place to go that was a bit of a secret for local folks. We usually go a few times a year and happened to go twice over the holidays with different friends. The menu is a wonderful pub menu with a twist and the service has always been good until recently. I think the current... more

My wife and I ate dinner at the much vaunted Inn at Perry Cabin in mid October 2008. The atmosphere is old school and quite comfortable. The servcie is discrete and attentive. The menu appears to be an attempt at updating old favorites. I had veal sweetbreads as a starter - you just don't see them much anymore - and... more

We were there during the just barely pre-summer season in St. Michael's. It is a charming town with quaint boutiques and the locals seemed to have so much pride in being from the region. The Inn at Perry Cabin had perfectly manicured lawns and established, well-maintained gardens. The understated elegance of the place made for a classy experience. It's the... more

My husband and I ate at Sherwood's Landing at Perry Cabin for my birthday dinner. It was a Wednesday night so there wasn't a wait even though we didn't have reservations. We were seated at a table right by the window so had a wonderful view of the water. The restaurant is decorated nicely and doesn't feel stuffy. Most men... more

Ignore tripadvisor at your own peril. I did and boy was I wrong. This place is just awful. The dining room itself if gorgeous - beautiful views, nice china, and well decorated. But the food is Applebee's quality. I've already written this in a longer review on the Inn at Perry Cabin, but with entrees ranging in the $30-37 range... more

My friend and I thought we would have a relaxing lunch on a rainy weekday at the prestigious Inn at Perry Cabin. After it was over, I wondered how people paying the high room rate, would tolerate such poor cuisine. After swatting flies for 10 minutes, we decided to order. I chose both items on the Appetizer list which had... more

For years I've heard and read about this restaurant and how wonderful it is. The inn and grounds are beautiful. The setting on the Miles River is worth the fare. Our service was great, our waiter was very attentive. The names tags need to go though. I chose the seared wild rockfish with scallops because it was the chef's "signature... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Inn at Perry Cabin to celebrate our anniversary. Our package, the Skipjack package, included a three-course dinner at the Inn's restaurant, Sherwood's Landing. Dinner was outstanding. First, we were given a beautiful table right by the window overlooking the lush grounds and the water. We watched the boats floating by until it... more

My wife and I were fortunate recently to be invited by a friend to Sunday lunch at the Inn at Perry Cabin. The hotel is indeed beautiful as is the restaurant and the food, while not exceptional, was certainly very good. However, the service was astoundingly bad for a restaurant with so many pretentions to quality and style and that... more
