Please also read my review about our overnight stay at Antrim 1844 on the hotel reviews. The Restaurant was not what we expected. Their list price states ave. $35- $50. Our bill for a six course meal with tax, mandatory 20% tip with no extras came to $172.62...You do the math??????? It started out great with hors d'oeurves in the... more

Our first visit was flawless. An elegant room with a wood burning fireplace. Cocktails and appetizers in the drawing room followed by a fabulous 6 course meal. Turn down service with a rose on the pillow. Wake up to coffee and muffins delivered to your door along with the day's paper. Go downstairs when you're ready for a tasty hot... more

It is beautiful but we reserved one of their better rooms months in advance and suddenly there were "plumbing problems". Turned out the truth was that they had double booked. You start out with appetizers in the mansion. The appetizers are absolutely delicious and the mansion is beautiful.
