Kates has some of the best fried scallops on the Cape. BIG, perfect light batter and not too greasy. The dinner is the best deal - LOTS of scallops, fries, and fritters. Ice cream is great too, but if you go at night, wear bug spray - the mosquitoes are fierce! more

Fried seafood and casual atmosphere. We go right from the beach and it's great. We are not expecting a 5 star restaurant, we expecting fried seafood, clam chowder, lobster rolls, picnic tables. it's all there and then head down the road to Paine's Creek Beach for a great sunset! It's excellent for what it is! more

The fried shrimp and the onion rings were good. The lobster fritters were terrible though, way too doughy, but I won't hold that against them because everything else was good. We tried the cake and ice-cream ice-cream - excellent. I recommend Kate's for casual dining. more
