This was the best dinner that we've ever had in the western part of MA!!!!!!! Restaurant is intimate with wonderful service.
We ate at Nudel our first night in Lenox and loved it so much we went back twice while we were in the area. Fun to eat at the counter and watch the chefs at work. Great service. YOU NEED TO KNOW they don't take reservations but will call your cell phone when a table opens up, and they "politely... More
Always concerned when you can't book in advance but we were seated within 5 mins after a drink (short but good 'wine by the glass' list) at the bar (they quickly shuffled tables to make this happen). Service was pleasant and the food was outstanding - great tastes and unusual combinations. Portion sizes just right so we found room to... More
Inventive and delicious, you'll want to eat here more than once. The no reservations policy makes early dining wise. A handsome space with amiable enough service. Tariffs are modest for this level of quality.
Nudel is a small place, rather crowded, definitely not fancy. They don't take reservations and we had to wait some 20 minutes standing. The stuff, while not rude as some of the reviews tend to claim, is hardworking and businesslike. All this place has going for it is one gimmick - fresh, well prepared, tasty food. The dishes are prepared... More
A unique restaurant with a menu that varies dependent upon what is available locally. Everything is fresh and excellently prepared. Good wine list too. Only open for dinner and small, so come early. It is especially enjoyable to sit at the bar and watch the chefs at work. Every thing we had was delicious.
Unique daily menu based on what the chef finds at the market that day. Small, quaint restaurant with top-notch food and reasonable prices given the unique experience.
Wonderful food. Read other reviews so knew there would be a wait and no substitutions or decaf. Food was great. Beet appetizer was wonderful. Chicken was moist. Cheesecake was good. Beer overpriced since they gave me a can and not poured for me.
We were excited to try this tiny restaurant in Lenox which has some extremely hi and also low ratings. First we tried the marinated eggplant with white beans ,spinach and pumpkin seeds, and I was impressed with it being unique and very good. Then we tried the corn, tomato stew with buttermilk and quinoa; it sounds like a great combination but we... More
