If you are visiting Marblehead, there is no experience like Maddie's. All over the world when I tell people I'm from Marblehead, I hear "Oh, Maddies!". There are two bars, one upstairs and one down. The downstairs bar gets rowdier and packed with people at night but is great for lunch (I think there is a pub menu). The upstairs... more

We used to like this place for seafood but there seems to be a problem under its new ownership. The bar has the same "clubhouse" feel but the table service is very poor and the food seems to have lost something as well. Take a pass! more
