I was visiting area and went for dinner. They offered a fair amount of specials. I got a broiled scallops dish and a salad. Calamari was good appetizer. Place was busy. Crowded with locals. Had a great drink menu as well. If in the area again- I would return. Chicken Molise was as good as described previously. Great prices and... more

Excellent value, good atmosphere, and very consistent. Always offer great service. And if they tell you it'll be 20 minutes for a table, it'll be 20 minutes. Nice to hang out at the bar too. more

This is a neighborhood restaurant, not a gourmet sampling spot. Their food is consistently reliable, inexpensive and actually amazingly good. I am a caterer in the Newton area, and I must admit I'm a fussy customer, but I also adore this sort of pub spot that retains a friendly neighborhood atmosphere but serves non-ick food. True pub feel in a nice Newton Highlands neighborhood setting. Good food and reasonable prices. Favorite meal is Chicken Molise. Beer and wine by the glass at decent prices as well. Highly recommend for a casual dinner. more
