Very memorable as the worst meal I had during my 5 days in MV. Interestingly, it was also the most expensive by a wide margin. I ordered (and expected) Linguine Puttanesca, but what I got was a grossly large portion of Linguine with watery tomatoes, bell peppers, and mushrooms... Completely missing were the garlic, anchovies, olive oil, hot peppers, black... more

The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was quaint. The food was plentiful (actually huge)...but average, at best. Over all...just ok. more

I had the shrimp and scallop vinegarette with pasta. The dish was bland, until I asked the kitchen for some red pepper flakes and more cheese. Once I added the red pepper flakes, cheese, and some salt and pepper it tasted good. Seemed like it was prepared in a hurry. Asked for Caesar dressing instead of the vinegarette dressing they... more

We never got a chance to eat at Jimmy Seas because after waiting 45 minutes for a table....we were then told that they "forgot" they had a reservation for 8 people and we'd have to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes or eat at stools at the tiny bar. We took a look at the bar and reluctantly said okay (even though... more

My husband and I went to the cape for our anniversary and spent a day on Martha's Vineyard sightseeing. We were told by a few people that Jimmy Seas had the best food if you loved garlic. I was very disappointed. I had the Chicken, Broccoli & Ziti and my husband had Seafood Linguini in Balsamic Vinaigrette. After waiting quite... more

Visited Jimmy Seas a couple of weeks ago. I had the garlic appetizer, which was VERY good. The waiter was kind enough to waive the $10 extra plate fee, allowing my daughter and I to split the ravioli. The menu definitely caters to adults, which may be something they've done on purpose, but on an island full of families it... more

My husband and I have been going to Martha's Vineyard every year for over 20 years, and sinceJimmy Seas opened it's doors, we have been regulars. Unfortunately in the past two years our meals have been sub-par. My favorite dish - the butternut squash ravioli (used to be Pumpkin ravioli) was mushy and overcooked. My husband's favorite dish - the... more

My family visits the Vineyard almost every year. Part of the reason I return to the Vineyard each year is because I look forward to eating at Jimmy Seas. The atmoshere is great but the food is even better. If you love fresh pasta and seafood you will love this resturant. Jimmy uses tons of fresh garlic in his dishes...wonderful... more
