My friend and I found sharkys this year while visiting the island. We loved the atmosphere and the servers. they were very friendly and ensured that we had everything we needed during our meal. we got chips and salsa and guacamole to start the trio were delish! At Sharky's we use a tomato based sauce, similar to many restaurants in California, Texas, and of course Mexico. Thanks very much for the great review! We also consider our mojitos the best around, the reason is that we use our 100% lemon and 100% lime juice sour mix and real mint muddled to perfection! Thanks again! (we NEVER use store bought mojitos or margarita mixes at Sharky's- always real fruit juice!) It makes a huge difference!!
My family and I discovered Sharky's last year and it was a very pleasant surprise. Kind of small, but a fun atmosphere. Kids even receive a little toy shark upon being seated! About 30 years ago they added the restaurant and because they could not add on to the building they arranged a deal with the town to add the bathrooms on...
Loved the food and drinks. Bar and wait staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of options for both drinks and food. Perfect for a night out with friends and or the kids - Kids Menu! Tremendous value anywhere, especially on Martha's Vineyard and appreciated these days. Will go back for sure! more
One of Favorite places to eat on island. Great for late night dining. The Super Buritto is why I go there. Great selection of margaritas. I love to sit at the bar in O.B. and have chips and margaritas. Fish tacos are great too. more
My family and I are only able to get to MV a few times a year, but when we do, Sharky's is the first place we visit! Both locations are great, the food is delicious and plentiful and we just enjoy the friendly atmosphere. We tell everyone we know to try Sharky's and they have all liked it as much... more
Like a lot of the other reviews, we found the chips to be stale. The pork in the enchilada was dry, pico / salsa wasn't fresh. The server forgot about us after delivering food. This is a bar with so-so tex mex, not what I would call a "mexican restaurant. Good margarita. more

Our chips are organic and fried off daily in house- I am going to look into the situation to see why they may have appeared stale...
I have had great experiences at this restaurant. It's small but warm ambience lends itself to a raucous party or meal with your parents, (as long as your parents dig margaritas!)...mine do! It also has kid friendly cuisine & great televisions for games... I like the fact that it is a walk in spot right on Circuit Avenue in Oak... more
If you want to just drink- this is the place. If you are hungry go somewhere else. The chicken fajitas were the worst I ever had- shreded pieces of chicken. Nasty nachos- chip taste like cardboard. more
Our chicken is braised and roasted, and then served in a "pulled" style. It is called the Machaca method of cooking . Our chips are 100% organic and fried daily. Thanks for the compliment about the margaritas.
We love Sharky's. We spent a lot of time in Oak Bluffs, but when the Edgartown Sharky's opened we loved the restaurant a whole lot more. No more wandering the Oak Bluffs strip with our beeper waiting for a table. Edgartown is bigger and has an eating outside option. Sharky's is also open year round which is awesome when we... more
