It would have been a better to eat the sand bar about 30 yards out into the sea. First of all, the sand bar has to be tastier than the food at this dump, second you might find some bits of fish in the sand whereas there was nary a taste or morsel of seafood in the Seafood Soup, just... more

I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviews... the Sandbar is HORRIBLE. I live on Martha's Vineyard, and have visited pretty much every restaurant on the island... this would be my last choice of any on the island to go to. Not only is the food extremely overpriced, its not tasty at all, and the staff they have is just bad.... more

One word: HORRENDOUS. A group of us went to the Sand Bar Restaurant on Oak Bluffs Harbor last night for dinner. We used the rest room which was not only filthy with an overflowing trash can, but no toilet paper what so ever. We told a staff member about this.
