Went for a Saturday lunch and got some Bento boxes which ranged from about $8 to $13. I got a good variety and amount of food with my Sukiyaki Benton- miso soup, a little salad, rice, 1 gyoza, 1 shumai, sukiyaki, pickles and some orange slices. We stopped in on Saturday around 1:30 for a sushi lunch. Service was friendly and prompt, though we had a misunderstanding when we ordered Asahi (beer) and the waitress brought Sake - she explained that Asahi is pronounced differently in Japanese. As the original is Brookline, MA Fugakyu in Sudbury, MA is great too! The service is always friendly and willing to answer any questions or find out the answer in a timely fashion. What they offer is fresh and prepared perfectly. Depending on time of the year some things on the menu are not available, that is disappointing but not... more

We have dined at the Fugakyu in Sudbury over a dozen times in the past year. Our experience has always been positive -- that is until a few days ago. My wife ordered one of her favorite Maki dishes, but after the first bite, she new some of the fish egg ingredients had gone bad. She sent the dish back.... more

It's not the FuGaKyu in Brookline..but for suburban like me, this small place on route 20 in Sudbury, reminds me of Brookline (although closes much ealrlier), where you can enjoy lovely sushi.. more
