I was schooled to enjoy the restaurants of Boston's North End, Providence's Federal Hill and New York's Little Italy....but nothing compares to this guy's gorgonzola gnocchi. My husband, daughter and I frequented this restaurant during our stay on the Vineyard and every meal was fantastic! A must is the Stuffed Mushrooms, Tenderloin and Seafood Alfredo. We've visited Nicky's a couple times while visiting family on Martha's Vineyard, most recently in Dec. 2006. Usually I find Italian menus a bit boring and predictable, but there are lots of tempting dishes at Nicky's. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is so helpful and friendly. (And, remember to bring your own wine. The Vineyard is STILL dry.) more

Dont miss Nicky's. Worth trying to find this place. We had the nightly specials and they were excellent. $46 without dessert. Remember to BYOB! The only regret we have is that we did not go to Nicky's earlier in our stay on the island, so we could have went back again. Just great. Such a neat little place. more
