We have been to Annam many times over the last several years. We have always had a great experience- wonderful food, great atmosphere (think of a quiet french restaurant with soft colored walls, nice art, tablecloths). Hands down, Annam is our favorite restaurant. It's in a small storefront on Michigan Avenue, and easy to overlook. A clean and serene decor, with soft golden walls, simple Asian art, with no red or gilding anywhere. Attentive service, but nothing overbearing.
