I understand that this is a very small place (though I wasn't expecting it to be) but it seems to me that you might be able to afford yourself some actual flatware so that I don't have to eat out of a Styrofoam bowl. This restaurant showed up as #1 among 121 restaurants in East Lansing on this site and so I went there to try out their menu with great expectations. However, I was hugely disappointed. I've had the opportunity to enjoy Louisiana food, having lived there for 12 years. Now is my chance to do so here! The food and excellent, and the service is warm. We had a wonderful experience and will return, with friends. I love the place and the people! Ken Mask more
Great food, if you like slightly spicy, rich flavours. A lot of food. Friendly service. Cosy setting. more
Highly Recommend going here as soon as possible. Food is fantastic everything homemade. Friendliest service around. Very cozy, great place to take a date. I will come again and again and again. Go for family style, that way you get everything. If you don't do that, get the smothered chicken. If you go Saturday, they make smothered pork chops...mmmmmmm goooood! more
