Excellant Italian food and ambiance. Very friendly staff. I went there alone and ate at the bar and found the customers freindly as well. Good wine list.
Andiamo is upscale casual Italian. Not very crowded for lunch probably a bit pricey for normal lunch with office staff. More like special occasion biz lunch. Quiet atmosphere good for dialogue. Wait staff very good attentive and knowledgable. Had Greek salad. Very good combination of flavors. Olives make the dish. Service makes it worth coming back
Andiamo in Livonia is a very lovely restaurant. Attention is taken to detail, from the fall decorations to the linens and sparkling glass. It presents a very peaceful experience. We started with the Shrimp Alla Andiamo appetizer, huge shrimp sautéed with leeks, white wine, and lemon in a light tomato sauce over toast points. The sauce was excellent, soaking the... More
WE sat at the bar for drinks during happy hour. Happy hour was much better a while a go now not so good. Not a reason to come any more for. Dinner is usually great, a little pricey for some, but always great.
We dined at the bar and other than having to ask for the salad that came with the entrée we enjoyed it very much. The flatbread pizza was spectacular. The wine selection is very good and balanced in price. My husband loved the giant meatball and the Palamina(o) sauce was terrific.
I am gluten free and I ordered a pasta and they verified as gluten free. When my meal came, I asked again and the wait staff if it was Gluten Free and they told me they had run out of gluten free pasta. However, they overlooked that and tried to serve me regular pasta. they really did not even apologize.... More
Not the worst Italian food we’ve ever eaten, but the worst meals EVER. This place is “the taste of Italy”? More like the taste of the Dumpster. Grossly over-priced wine ($8 a glass of wine that runs $8 a bottle at Kroger). Poor service (1 1/2 hours to get 2 entrees?) Horrible, very poorly prepared food. Veal should be fork... More
Started the evening with the wait staff attending to us but there were major lapse in attentiveness although the restaurant was not busy yet. The food was good overall but the cheddar broccoli soup was not puréed completely since I was getting bits and pieces of a fibrous material. Food presentation was very good and impressive but somewhat salty on... More
The best restaurant in the area. Great food, good wine list, excellent service. Management will, always visit your table to ensure you've had a great experience. I've been to 7 different Andiamo locations and they are all great. They do everything from scratch and it shows.
I'm a pretty frequent diner at the various Detroit area Andiamo's and I visited Andiamo, Livonia, MI Friday 2/22/13 to try something off their new, limited time, seafood menu. I ordered the whitefish almondine which was prepared and cooked perfectly...delicate flavor and the butter/wine/almond sauce was delicious! Also ordered the portabella mushroom with the zip sauce for an appetizer -... More
