I've been here several times on trips to Ludington over the years, and I would still say it is a "must do" on any trip to fill up on ice cream and other tasty treats. There are many different desserts to choose from, and everyone in our group (ages 1 to 44) had a great treat. more

Stopped twice by The House of Flavors when we were in Ludington over the weekend (July 2009). I can't speak for the food in the restaurant, but the ice cream was very good. They will serve one or two scoops in a waffle cone or a regular cone. My only complaint is I wish they would also serve in sugar... more

First of all, I have to tell you that two "House of Flavors" semi-trucks were part of Ludington's Fourth of July parade. We had chairs very close to the start of the parade and first we saw the two trucks, then in a minute we saw perhaps a dozen or more House of Flavors staff members working furiously to hand... more

Nouveau fifties vibe. Very good ice cream and sundays etc. Nice roasted turkey plate. Average burgers, fries, sandwiches, very family/teen spot. Dependable. Oh...disappointing breakfasts. more

My family is from Ludington and I get to visit occasionally. No matter what time of year I go, I always need my Blue Moon ice cream! It is almost impossible to find anywhere else in the world and I love it! I just got back and it was 14 degrees outside and I still had my Blue Moon! more

We live in the general area full time (mostly) at nearby Bass Lake. In the summer, the HOF is very busy. Guess why? It's not just the ice cream products. Visit the "House" in Ludington for a very good and inexpensive breakfast. We have been visiting Ludington yearly since 1995 and had only went there for ice cream. Not my favorite place to eat, the food is good but I think you can find better in town. I do perfer breakfast over lunch or dinner & they have a great seafood omelet & strawberry jam. It is a wonderful treat however for kids, my daughter is 4 & she loves the idea of getting ice cream after her... more
