First I need to preface this review with the following information. I travel extensively and have sampled the best in Mexican cuisine in many cities including ones that are in Mexico. The best and most authentic restaurant I’ve been to is the Frontera Grill in downtown Chicago (they grow their own chilies because they cannot be found in this country).... more

We have always liked the Cantina's food and service, although one sits on top of one's neighbor. But our trip there tonight was such a disappointment ! I had the new fish taco and P.U. ! Too much spice in sauce. Too little fish, and what was there was fried beyond recognition. Could have done better at Del Taco !... more

Border Cantina is one of my favorite mexican restaurants in the Detroit area. Everytime I come back to visit friends and family it's a restaurant I have to visit! The food, drinks and service have always been terrrific and I recommend the restaurant to anyone who is in the area. more

Border Cantina is the best Mexican food in the entire state of Michigan. We are locals and this is our favorite restaurant in town. The fajitas are amazing and the fajita salad is fantastic as well.
