The good -- Service was exceptional and they were very accommodating of a young child. I'd read reviews of rude students working withuot customer service skills and experienced none of that. We ate at at Tellos on Phoenix street. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by our server who was more interested in entering our selections into his new hand held device and wearing a napkin on his head than answering our questions about menu selections, wine offerings, or even filling out water glasses! more

We dine out often. The food here is quite good (although choices are limited) and the atmosphere is pleasant. But the servers are awful. There is no reason why college kids can't be good servers, but they have to be trained. Two times we had waitresses who were untrained (one had to ask the cook if something could be sauteed).... more

Visited Tello's twice this trip, once for a lunch and once dinner. The lunch menu is very simple, made up of some very interesting pizza and some soups and salads. We did the salads and they were very good. Service was friendly and professional, and price in line with a Chicago lunch, around $12-$15 with tip and beverage per person.... more
