Believe it or not, the lasagna is a surprise treat! The soups are really wonderful. And you can't go wrong with any of the breads!
My wife had the short stack with blueberries and I had the Smoked Salmon Omelette. Both were delicious. Would recommend any of their home made breads and bakery products.
A few words from a cook concerning the likes of THE Amazing Grace. Good coffee. Average, unseasoned food. Unacceptable breakfast wait times (over 40 un-exaggerated minutes). Subway quality sandwiches on slightly better bread (?). Run of the mill soups (bland) and salads. VERY slow and clueless front of house staff. From what I gathered, very poor and unconcerned management. Will... More
I think it is considered a coffee shop or a deli. It is in the basement of the Weitz building next door to Angie's. the last time I was staying on the canal we just could not find it. We had tried to get into Angies and the wait was very long. It was late (ok, for us) so went... More
We always eat here or get take out when we visit Duluth, Mn. The bakery in the morning is mad fresh with lots of variety. They have fresh bread every day. The soup is different every day and so good, we stop here first to see what the soup is before we go to another restaurant. They have made to... More
We went early for breakfast and noticed how many regulars came and went. Everything was tasty, the service was wonderful, the presenation was good...Great coffee, fabulous muffins and a real "deal"!
I had read great reviews of Amazing Grace and was thrilled to go in and check it out. It was late on Sunday afternoon, so it appeared many items were sold out. I ordered some cookies and scones. I was happy with the harvest cookies, they had some interesting flavors. Not too sweet, soft texture. The scones may have been... More
The sandwiches are huge here. The homemade bread is delicious, sliced very thick. I shared a sandwich with my husband and we both had plenty to eat. The only downside was the long line. They also have a nice shaded patio.
This was close to our hotel and we wandered in. We had great coffee, very friendly service, and some excellent pastries with a slice of quiche. All of the food was reasonably priced and tasted great. I don't think there is much here that is not home made and that is what makes it great. The bread looked fantastic and... More
Sitting here for the last 90 minutes waiting for food - might as well add a review right now on my phone. Coming here based on TA reviews was the worst decision we made this entire weekend in Duluth. I've never been burned like this with all the recommendations we've followed at restaurants around the world. I won't take the... More
