The Mockingbird Bakery used to be my favorite place to have breakfast, unfortunately the service got terrible when they let certain staff go. A great place to stop in for bread and pastries. Lunch menu is sandwiches, soup, etc. and they add a side of potato chips. Very uninspired! The service was not great last weekend when my husband stopped for a dessert. I agree with the other reviewer that the stressed-out food consultant did not add to the experience. Over the past year I have eaten at the Mockingbird Bakery several times. Each time the food was wonderful and the service friendly and attentive. This past weekend I was there again. What happened?
