The Mayflower Cafe is an obvious favorite with the locals where the atmosphere takes you back to the forties. Nothing fancy here but the food is fresh, home-cooking. Don't let the view of the place keep you from going in! Our family visits Jackson at least once a year for a ladies shopping weekend. Since Jackson is halfway between Memphis and Mobile this is a perfect location for us to meet.
