They are located in a small mall on I'55 north of downtown Jackson. During construction, they are offering wait service which they usually do not have. Excellent salad and rice crisy bars-- the best that I ever had. The veggies in the salad were fresh the crawfish tasy and it was more than enough for lunch. Unlimited unsweetened ice tea.... more

Jackson really only boasts a handful of cafes, and this is the only one that comes close to what travelers would recognize as an Au Bon Pain. They specialize in bakery items, including wonderful breads that offer a selection that is otherwise absent for hundreds of miles (french, ciabatta, sourdough, rye, foccacia, and others - all offered whole or sliced).... more

Broad Street Baking Company is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. They make fresh breads and pastries daily, and their quiches and soups are mouthwatering. (They also make a mean Mediterranean pizza and a variety of salads and sandwiches.) For lunch, get there early, before the rush, as tables can be limited. more
