Broussard's is a good place in town that's not a chain restaurant and it's located in the heart of downtown makes for a more fun outing. Their cajun, new orleans style dishes are very good especially for the price. The only negative side is the somewhat musty smell to the building, which makes it feel a little bit dirty. Someone on trip advisor recommended this restaurant in Cape Girardeau and I'm glad they did. We were passing through and spending the night in Cape Girardeau. We wanted to stay away from the chains and find a restaurant downtown. Broussard's was a great choice. Friendly service, good food and large portions.
