If you're looking for best ribs in Saint Louis, Roper's Ribs is the right place! I heard about Roper's originally on Citysearch.com, and I tried their BBQ when I was passing through Saint Louis and discovered that they have a wonderful beef brisket sandwich and the best baby back ribs I've ever had. Easily in my top 3 Rib places anywhere (the other two being Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa, AL and Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse NY). Excellent rib tips, very moist, well seasoned/sauced. Not much space to eat, though there were a few tables. Wouldn't suggest going there for a sit-down meal. Friendly service. more

This was hands down the best ribs I've had. Ribs were done to perfection! Looking forward to my next visit to St. Louis. more

Absolutely some of the best BBQ and probably the best ribs I've ever had. Only 10 minutes from downtown, find this place and you will be addicted. I could eat those spare ribs everyday. The owner and his wife are very nice and love to talk about their cooking process. GO HERE! more

Great ribs in a plain package! I punched "Ribs" in my GPS near the St. Louis Airport and found this jewel just a few miles away in a neighboorhood of neat single family homes and friendly folks that seem to know what makes St. Louis ribs famous.
